Well I live in CA. I'm conservative and I'm part of a small minority. However this video is VERY MISLEADING. The PROP 13 ballot initiate has NOTHING to do with repealing the law most know as proposition 13 from years ago related to taxing your home. This is an entirely unrelated and different issue related to funding schools. Measure 13 will NOT be repealed if it passes. However I voted against it because I'm opposed to more taxes. Another LIE out of this video is that the STATE has 200 taxes on the ballot. I only had 1 tax on my ballot, Proposition 13. I think this video is commingling any type of local tax being voted on in cities and counties and then describing it as statewide taxes. Again, I oppose taxes but I also oppose spreading rumors, innuendos and outright lies.

California is so expensive as is now they want to screw over hard working American with higher taxes so they can give free healthcare to bunch of illegals aliens paysasz with my hard earned money so they can sit home do nothing but shit out baby’s so they can welfare from me. Just because I’m a law abiding citizen and I work hard for my family., this year actually I have to pay $9,500 so bunch of illegals ALIENS can get free healthcare, that’s not my job! Liberals are up in arms about DOnald Trump's tax returns. I think something that would be even more interesting, is an item by item listing of expenditures that the states and the Federal government spend our taxes on. Newsom has all of these new taxes, would it not be interesting to see the detail of where every dollar is going?
When he says 231 new taxes, he's not talking about 231 imposed on every individual. If you live in Modoc County and want a sewer line and want to raise money through county sales tax, that has no bearing on the other 57 counties. If the City of Oceanside wants to give a raise because workers having had a COLA in 5 years and they put a sales tax, that doesn't apply to Carlsbad or the other 481 municipalities in this state. California has more people than Canada, spread out over several thousand cities, incorporated, unincorporated, tribal, federal, etc. The money goes to roads, infrastructure, power…running the state. A fraction, and obviously not enough, goes to the poor. Taxes go mainly to services of the middle class and that's why the rich don't want to pay any taxes at all. The guy flying over LA in a helicopter doesn't want to pay for the roads you and I drive on. Also, if you live in California you probably voted for these taxes because you make enough money to easily cover them. While it may cost more to live here, going outside doesn't suck every fucking day. Los Angeles had 4/100th of an inch of rain in January, 2020 and was over 70 degrees almost every day, with no heavy breeze. Motorcycle with a T-shirt in January weather. You got that? Your state has low taxes because your state has low needs.
