Eric Moutsos named 2020 Utahn of the Year
Kristen Chevrier
I‘ve been working with Eric Moutsos for many months now. In the process, I’ve heard him speak several times. Because I felt he had a valuable message, I invited him to speak at the Your Health Freedom Symposium in 2020. We were inspired by how fresh, real, applicable, and articulate his message was. Eric draws from his own experience to move individuals in his audience to rise above their challenges and reach higher than they might feel is possible. His message is positive and uplifting. We’ve invited him to speak again--and sing--at the 2021 Your Health Freedom Symposium. He will speak/sing last, because we want the audience to leave feeling lifted and empowered.

I have had the opportunity to listen to Eric Moutsos speak several times. Every time I do, I leave feeling motivated to be a better person. Eric is a gifted teacher. He inspires while being very entertaining. The lessons he teaches about morality, ethics, patriotism, love of God and family are subjects that need to be heard especially at this time.
The stories he shares from his own life resonate with everyone because he is open and honest about his struggles as well as his successes. There is a reason that he is a great leader. It is because he truly cares about others and wants to make the world a better place. He doesn’t just talk the talk. He is willing to do the right thing regardless of the consequences. We need more men like Eric Moutsos, and I would take every opportunity I could to listen to him speak.

Our little, not so conservative town in Idaho was struggling to find freedom during the year 2020. We were also struggling to find our people… other like-minded conservatives. We asked Eric Moutsos to come with his documentary. Between the documentary and the words Eric spoke afterwards, we were able to see and feel the spirit of freedom and liberty during a time of trouble and confusion. We connected with many like- minded conservatives, our gatherings totaled about 400 people. We laughed, we cheered, we booed. And After the event people stayed for hours thirsting for connection with like minded people. One local police officer said the effects of this event would spark change, & send ripples through our community for decades. Eric is strong, courageous, unwavering, entertaining and inspiring and he brings the spirit of those qualities to any event. Just make him sing a little, lol!

Vanguard Academy was honored to have Eric Moutsos as our keynote speaker at our 2021 Commencement ceremony. I have had several positive comments from our guests and graduates regarding Eric’s speech. He was relatable, inspiring, and shared a positive message about perseverance in the face of adversity.
“Eric Moutsos is a champion of the working people of Utah. Eric’s efforts to revive lockdown-damaged businesses in Utah have been greatly appreciated in our rural counties as well as our urban centers. In February of this year, he brought “Non-Essential” to Blanding, and fired up covid-weary locals whose lives and businesses were suffering due to oppressive and tyrannical policies coming out of the state health department and the governor’s office 300 miles away. The San County Republican Party invited Eric to keynote our Great Republican Presidents dinner on June 26th and he did not disappoint. The mixed crowd was captivated by his personal stories and inspired by his love of liberty, truth and God. Many college-age people were in attendance, and they were both charmed and fascinated by Eric, and they stayed late for an impromptu afterparty during which Eric performed some great Country & Western favorites. It still makes me smile that the fake news enemy of the people Salt Lake Tribune was forced to publish the results of their 2020 “Utahan of the Year” survey in which Eric Moutsos won handily. Eric is a compelling speaker, entertainer and leader in the battle for our liberty and American way of life.” -Marjorie Haun (San Juan County Republicans)
