The Forced State Religion?
The Pittsburgh PD unveiled new Pride decals on a patrol car this morning. Does anyone remember me saying this was coming coast to coast a few years ago? People thought I was crazy then, too.
One of the main reasons why the Founders left England a few hundred years ago, was to flee from the government who were forcing people to think how they thought, live how they wanted you to live, and to “worship” how they wanted you to worship. So they left, to built America. However, it seems we’ve now come full circle back to that idea. Where is the separation now?
This movement seems to not stop until it has literally painted itself on ever faction of our lives (including our government cars), and if you disagree with it, you will put you on the same level as a racist.
It’s scary today to speak up against it. Employment, jobs, certain FB friends you know will be offended if you speak out. But, do it anyway, come what may. Do it with love and conviction. Articulate yourself and WHY you believe the way you believe. That’s why America should be America. We all believe differently. Let’s just not force one belief into another; especially force by the government.
MJ Sobran once said, “What the secularists are increasingly demanding…is that religious people, when they act politically, act only on secularist grounds. They are trying to equate acting on religion with establishing religion. And—I repeat—the consequence of such logic is really to establish secularism. It is in fact, to force the religious to internalize the major premise of secularism: that religion has no proper bearing on public affairs.”
I hope these cops around the country who are being forced to put this on their car will, with love, fight back. I hope the people of Pittsburg stand up, with love, and speak. As a people, are we going to let sexualism become the new forced state religion? We shall see.
Today, me and my family had the great privilege to spend several hours in the home of Ammon and Lisa Bundy.
We talked about God, Family, and Country. We talked about where we should be as a country and what it’s going to take to get there by each individual person living in America. We shared scriptures. We talked a lot about the proper role of government and how far we are off track today. We talked about standing for something.
We shared very personal stories from each other’s lives. I haven’t felt this type of kinship in a long time. I felt like I’ve known them forever. Lisa’s testimony was just as powerful as Ammon’s. I was moved today.
Man, I thought my family went through some tough trials. These guys went through hell and back; a modern-day refiners fire that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Very few, if any, get out of the grasps of the Federal Government once they lock their sights on you, especially when there are bad actors involved in that government. The Bundy’s are a walking, living, miracle. God was with them then, and with them today. I promise you.
Driving away from their home, there were two things that stood out the most; first was the amount of divine protection our Heavenly Father gives to those that love Him and follow the dictates of their conscience. Second was the amount of faith and courage it’s going to take for the last days regarding our freedoms.
I can honestly say that I left their home a better person. I have so much to write. I wish I could share the feeling that was in the room with us. I thank Heavenly Father for today.
I’m so thankful we live in the United States of America, but we have so much work to do. We need to unite as one with correct principles. Thank you Ammon and Lisa for your faith and testimony in the things that are true.
Thoughts on some Government –
One main branch and duty of our government is to try and make sure criminals get “justice” for unfairly taking advantage of We The People. We spend billions for that system to serve the people properly. That system sometimes takes really “bad guys” off the street. I’ve seen it happen. It sometimes works, and many times it doesn’t. That system tries keep us safe and free from liars, thief’s, and perpetrators who wish to take advantage of us as a whole.
In theory, I understand why the purpose was initially intended to help us all. We want to be safe, and we want to be free. We don’t want to be victimized.
But what happens when the system itself attracts “representatives” and agents who start to lie, steal, and cheat The People for their personal gain?
What happens when these very powerful branches, systems, and representatives themselves take more advantage of the people than any random “bad guy” could ever dream of?
What do we do at that point as a people?
It seems our society’s lack faith and disbelief in God has now produced a very disturbing growth in government all over the world?
It seems once that faith in God is lost individually and collectively, and never passed down to the next generations, we start to look to government for our answers, instead of God. Why? Because we don’t want to answer to someone higher than ourselves. We then try and create the laws ourselves. But the real Law, which would produce real happiness, was already given to the human family, a long long time ago.
We seem to be so scared there just may be “heavenly laws”, and we run from the idea that Someone wiser than ourselves may know just a bit more than we do. But because of our pride and ignorance, we ironically then create our own gods, within our own big governments, with 100x more laws that are 100x more restrictive and controlling than the ones we tried to hide from. Thus, we get exactly the punishments we deserve on ourselves. We’ve now become a law unto ourselves.
Maybe one day we will come full circle back to a few simple commandments that will produce the happiness and hope we desperately need.
I keep seeing how “bad” organized religion is to our society. That church is only for a weak mind and has so many issues with people being “brain washed” and not thinking for themselves. That it’s for people who feel pressured into it for one reason or another. Ok. Interesting.
You know what else is interesting and has issues?
Unorganized irreligious societies who make up rules as they go; with zero foundational footing to their doctrine. Who vote with their feelings with actual pressure to please the current cultural crowd. People who don’t answer to anyone or anything but themselves. Which ironically is a form of a self-worship religion on its own.
Some in that type of whimsical cultish thinking scares me 100x more than a group of people following principled based traditions that have been proven to produce successful spiritual societies, and families, for thousands of years.
Have you ever thought that people who go to church may just WANT to be there, not HAVE to be there? That it’s more like a hospital for those who want to get spiritually better? That being “brain washed” is exactly that, washing our sick brains from a very ill culture that continues to pollute our minds, hearts, and souls? So you’re right, I get “brain washed” every Sunday.
Without God and His ways- and His religion- what’s the point to this entire existence anyway? Is going to church to learn about that really such a bad thing?
With that said… God still loves you, church or not. You can still be a good person, church or not. And, I invite you all to church with me tomorrow. Doors are open. I have an extra seat in my minivan.
