A letter from an SLCPD officer to me-
(I removed parts out for privacy)

Apr 19, 2020

Keep the fight brother. Many of the officers I spoke with today during shift were 100% on board with your rally and 100% against the restrictions. I don’t know any that are enforcing it.

…we (the union) need to express to Chief Brown we would not enforce the stay home order. You can imagine it fell on deaf ears. Not sure I’m quite ballsy enough, like you, to tell the chief what’s what. Maybe one day I’ll put my big boy pants on.

Anyway, wanna tell you I support you 110%. Keep standing up for the Constitution and what it truly means. Not many people like you left in America.

Your friend and fellow officer,

Xxxxxxxxx (badge # xxxx)

Thank you, brother.

You won’t be able to change it (with just you) from the inside unless you choose to fight the devil himself within and lose your job altogether; because he is in the details of this entire thing; fear and panic is of him. I’m sure you can feel that like many of us can.

If you do fight, then you altogether lose the ability to feed your family. And your family is the most important. Don’t forget that during this emotional time. But I pray if it gets really bad and there is some type of harder order from government, all the police will stand up at the same time. Because there will be several more waves of corona. Government will have to choose.

I fear it’s only going to get worse economically for the next several years and I pray your badge number is high enough once they start laying off cops; because that is coming. I assure you. In other words, I wouldn’t jeopardize it unless you really feel it in your heart, or if they have you try and cross a line you simply refuse to cross. Just keep close to God and He will tell you what to do.

However, what you can do, is keep in touch with me and I’ll help from the outside. Let me know if Mayor Mendenhall hasn’t pulled the snitch-on-your-neighbor hotline by next week, and I may do another call-to-action and bring not 2-3,000, but 10,000 for another rally/revival. That I promise. It’s unacceptable in America.

I was thinking about it last night, and it hit me; we are blaming the governments right now at all levels, and though it’s true the majority failed us without a plan, I believe ultimately it’s The People’s responsibility for ever allowing the government “control” to begin with.

No, most of us never really understood what a virus like this can do, including every government official we’ve seen try; but it seems none of us understands how our God given rights should be exercised right now. Nobody knows the proper role of government, including the government. Confusion everywhere.

Apathy and lack of engagement in politics is a main reason we are in this mess. Myself included. If we would have been more awake, like we should have been, and on alert like we must be, it never would have happened.

We would have taken all the unconstitutional recommendations with a grain of salt and safely gone to work weeks ago not skipping a beat. And I pray once the next wave of the virus flares up, which it will, we will say NO! And NEVER allow that to happen again.

Again, keep in touch and let me know if and where you need us next, if it comes to that point. God bless you and your family.

Still your brother in blue,

For those of you saying President Trump can’t be inspired of God because of things he’s said or done in the past…May I ask a quick question…

Who died and made you God? I truly mean that question. Who died and made you the God of judgement on someone’s spiritual progressing soul?

We know for sure Jesus died for everyone’s sins. But I didn’t realize He died for you to become the new moral arbiter of who gets grace, all from your iphone. (Sadly this is coming from some members of my faith right now)

Could it possibly be that Donald Trump (still a sinner like you and I) just may be used for higher purposes at times, yes, maybe in between so d stupid tweets? Yes, even Donald Trump. Would you have mocked Saul to Paul? And even if he’s not Paul, isn’t that a transformation we should be praying for, not fighting against?

Isn’t the whole purpose of the plan of redemption to repent? And what you’re saying is that Trump hasn’t repented? Or that a person like Donald Trump can’t repent? Have you been listening to every one of Donald Trumps private and personal prayers? Or are you saying he can’t even pray? Help me understand.

Besides a lot of stupid things Trump says and does from time to time… the only thing I’m noticing is how he’s doing EXACTLY what he said he was going to do for this country. Yes, imperfectly. What I do know is he was one of the only people to step up and take over the ship that was about to go off the cliff.

And for those saying Trump “Violated God’s law of war” it however you put it…

Do you KNOW he wasn’t inspired to not make this last strike on that terrorist? You know that? I’m not saying he was inspired. What I am saying is you and I don’t know.

And for those of you who are of my particular faith….

I wonder what some would have thought watching Nephi take another mans head off in his own backyard, then proceed to put the dead mans clothes on; and walk in the dead mans house; to take the dead mans personal belongings. (1st Nephi 4:12-17) Remember, not Nephi’s house, no, the dead mans house, why? For a higher purpose nobody could see.

Again, you and I don’t know the exact predicament with President Trumps decision. War is awful, yes. But not every move with war and conflict is a cookie cutter decision. Never has been, never will be.

God bless President Trump with not only the entire world against him (including Hell itself) but also with the incredibly hard decisions he faces everyday. It’s only going to get harder. I pray for him. He needs our prayers, not our damning judgments to hell.

Meet Jack Wilson, the man who slew the not-so-bright potential Goliath who entered a Texas church yesterday morning, and was subsequently shot in the face from about 15 yards, give or take. (update: Bad guy was a drum roll…. convicted felon who shouldn’t have been allowed to own a gun.)

Jack Wilson

But does the face really need to be talked about, and how far he was? The answer is absolutely yes to both. Why?

As a former law enforcement officer, these details matter. When we would do our quarterly trainings and qualifications, we would start out at the 25 yard mark. Officers could typically choose how to position their bodies to get these shots off. Most of us would choose to lay down because it was a lot easier to hit a headshot with stability. And that was still hard. It became easier to hit the target as the qualification came to an end, but anyone who shoots a handgun, knows. And shooting a handgun is a perishable skill. Personally, I would have went for center mass because of how hard a head shot is at that distance.

He clearly was the man for this particular job.

Reports are coming in that Jack Wilson was a firearms instructor; could there be anyone more qualified to stop such a threat? Probably not. Because a firearms instructor is usually more proficient with a handgun than most cops; this is what they do.

Further, I love how the MSM isn’t talking about the four other church goers who were locked and loaded as well.

I am very grateful for Jack Wilson and what he did yesterday. He not only saved dozens of lives, but showed America what’s supposed to happen when a mini- Goliath enters the scene. They are to be slain. And further, taught us that anyone in this country can be proficient with the God given right they have to carry a gun.

We as Americans are the first responders. Never forget that.
Thank you, Jack. God bless you and the congregation who witnessed what they should have never witnessed in an American church.

I hope this helps someone who wants to know more about who they really are…

I have been wanting and meaning to put this into a post for a really long time. This means more to me than most topics. I think about it often; especially having children in the stages they are in. I write this to get people thinking who have asked me so many questions about my faith the last little bit. I have never given the response needed to make this point and bring to light what I believe to be truth.

Before I get started, this is the one foundational and core truths that makes more sense than any doctrine taught in my church, however and for whatever reason, isn’t understood or thought about by most people in the world.

I am going to answer this question…

“Can we as as humans become like God?”

And I am going to answer this question with only questions…

All of the scripture references will be from The Holy Bible, not the Book of Mormon (At least this time 🙂

Can we become like God? (Yes, in the literal sense of the meaning) Can you, yes you reading this right now, become like God in the next life? Male and Female both…

Here we go…

If there is a God, does it threaten Him if we could become like Him?

Does it make Him happy when we learn and grow? Is there going to come a time when we have learned enough, and after that, He stops our progress and expansion because we are gaining too much?

Is God a dictator? Or is He a universal leader? Meaning, does a dictator only want power for themselves and get threatened by the thought of someone else having any amount of power and authority? If the answer is yes, is that the universe you want to dwell in forever?

Is God a true universal leader? Does a true leader become happy when they see someone else succeed, learn, and grow? Does a true leader get jealous when another advances? Or does a true leader become an even greater leader when He or She creates other leaders?

How large is space? Is there not room for more God’s? Does not the scriptures say in Corinthians “gods many, and lords many” in the universe? Just like on earth a child has only ONE parent and answers to ONE parent, does that mean there are no other parents across the street raising their children? Could it be there are “Mom’s many and Dad’s many”, but there is only one Mom and Dad to us? Many many God’s in space?

Does a perfect parent want to limit their children? Or does a parent not only what they have, but even more? What type of parent doesn’t want to give their child everything they have, and more?

What does the Bible scripture mean when Jesus commands us to be ye therefore perfect? (Matt 5:48) And what was the measuring sick? Wasn’t it be ye therefore perfect, like your Father in heaven is perfect? What does that mean? Do we believe Jesus when He says we can be perfect one day like the Father is Perfect? Or do we not? Doesn’t the word perfect in Greek not mean, fully developed and completed? Will we never be completed in Him?

Why did Christ come to earth to be a perfect example? For what? When he said “Come follow me..” Did he mean only half way? Or did he mean ALL the way?

What did Jesus mean when he said in Romans 8:17 “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” Did christ say and if “plants”? If “animals”? Or did He say “Children”?

Speaking of Children… Who are you? Are you a plant? A tree? An animal? Or are you a child of God? Does not a plant grow into the same mature larger plant once the seed has sprouted and it’s properly nourished? What about a tree? What about an animal? What do they turn into once they grow? What will you turn into if properly nourished?

In the book of Revelation, when God says, “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” Rev 3:21) What throne is he talking about? Is this not the Bible we are reading from?

What’s the point of the next life, if all we are going to be is angels? To do what? Sing for eternity?

If God gave us the ability to create a child on this earth, to protect, care for, teach, help, and grow, is God going to take away that ability in the next life to have children? Why? Is earth not patterned after heaven? If having children is one of the greatest blessings God can give to us on earth, wouldn’t that gift only be multiplied X infinity?

When the Jews tried to trick Jesus, asking him if He was like the Father, did not Jesus teach them the principle of us, becoming like Him, like God? Why did the Jews want to kill Him? Wasn’t it blasphemy? What was the blasphemy? That Jesus that not only He is God, but we are God’s in embryo?

Was it not that Jesus told them about their divine potential?

And Jesus said….

“30 I and my Father are one.

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself a God.

34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? (In the Old Testament it says “Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High” Ps. 82:6.

35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the bFather is in me, and I in him.” John 10

Are you getting angry with the words I have just typed, or does this bring you peace thinking it could possibly be true? If it makes you angry, where is that coming from? If it makes you peaceful, where is that coming from?

If you were to be holding a lit candle and I were to be holding an unlit candle, and you were to reach over and light my candle, does it diminish your light on your candle? Or does it only add to it? Is that not the same principle of God?

Is God capable of anything and everything? Have you ever said, “With God ALL things are possible!” Do you believe God can do ALL things like the Bible tells us? Or just some things? Because if you believe He can do ALL things, and He is ALL powerful, all omnipotent, omniscient, etc, then are you going to say He is not powerful enough to make us into God’s, like Himself? Are you now limiting God? Can he do ALL things, except glorify His children?

And last, What did Jesus mean when he said:

21 That they (meaning us) all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.” John 17

Could this possibly be true? Do you not feel a spark of divinity in you?

Love,

Eric Moutsos
