Throughout the 80's and into the 90's movies pushed a particular character. The main character, the hero in most movies, had common traits. They never had time for their family or kids. They were in the middle of a divorce. Their life was messed up and they had some kind of addiction. They or their wife committed adultry. They had no control of their emotions. They were on a vengeful murderous quest out of blind rage.
Fast forward 20 years. This is now the common theme amongst most fathers. Who by the way have multiple kids from multiple women. And those women have multiple kids from multiple fathers. The only interest in education is based solely on how much money one can get by achieving that certificate. There is no sense or any idea of what it means to measure success on self improvement and enlightenment. Most people today dont even realize that is what humans did, when there was no television. Success today is literally defined by money and social status. This in turn has turned a very significant portion of our population into shallow morally bankrupt fools on both ends of the spectrum.

Can we as a people force her to carry that fertus for months until it is actually a baby?
Can we then force her to deal with trying to raised a handicap child ,..often on her own?
Can we force her to go through childbirth and amplify her emotional distress for the rest of her life if she then puts the baby up for adoption?
Can we be honest about how the very same society demanding those fetuses be allowed to be born as down syndrom children ,..actually treat those with down syndrom?
Many will say I am not christian for beliving it is the mothers choice,..those poeople never read their bible….
Not only was abortion practiced in the time of jesus, not only does the bible not speak against it ,..it clearly DOES place the responcibility and all choice over that childs life in the hands of the parents and not just in the womb.
So perhaps as we set in our moral judgements we should concider some of the above.
Whats sad is the person being interviewed is just a mother. Heard nothing from her saying she was an expert, just a mother of 4. Any of those kids have severe down syndrome? By severe I mean incapable to live without aid from others as a normal adult can? Yes the test can show that the symptom is present in embryo but not the severity the child will have. Just as abortion should be a woman's right, so should the parents have the say on whether they do indeed want a questionable birth. Abuse of unwanted children is well documented. Is the person being interviewed ready and willing to take on children not wanted? I doubt it. She may have the heart, but not the means. What does happen is the over burdened State steps in and takes over. Or when the parents die, the State must give lifetime assistance to the severe cases. Let parents decide.
People have a free choice. If you care so much about saving human lives make sure to wear a mask, to keep your distance, and to wash your hands.
