    I am a 2x credentialed outpatient coder for a hospital in Texas. This is why we say Doctors are not coders. Guidelines put out by CMS for Covid 19 differ from regular conventional coding. If a patient presents to the ER with S/SX and tests positive then primary dx is of course going to be Covid 19. As long as a provider states in documentation the patient is positive or the test result is positive and the chief complaint is related to S/SX then that is the primary dx.

    We in California celebrated day & night for over a week!
    Here in Anaheim, we made up for Disneyland & Knott's having closed down their firework shows, by firing off 100x more mortar rockets than they ever would, EVERYWHERE!
    This went on solid, all day and night, until midnight, where there was a very odd, but appropriate silence, for about 10 minutes. (& then just a little MORE)
    Others in the "United" States, need to act united when mentioning California in these comments.
    We didn't vote these criminal politicians into office, they fraudulently cheated their way in.
    We can't wait for the the POTUS & Patriots to hall all these gangsters off to Guantanamo!

Then, we need to make sure our community members learn what real patriotism means for freedom and what it feels like to be patriotic, and that they learn about REAL American history (which should include lessons on the Conquistadors for those who like to pretend the USA is "stolen land" while Mexico is somehow not..). Also, our "government" is using OUR tax dollars to indoctrinate our kids directly through our public schools. Parents need to start suing because the government is forcing the use of curriculum and methodology that is literally stunting the academic growth of our children (they use funding initiatives to control the schools). I am willing to teach anyone interested in learning about this mess how to fight the good fight with FACTS. In fact, I am willing to teach ANYONE interested in learning how to conduct real fact finding activities in any number of subject areas how to do so effectively. I wear the badge of "shame," having had my contract terminated recently by a local CA Community College for standing up for real education. I was an instructor of psychology, and an EXCELLENT instructor at that. I held students accountable, refused to give points to students unless they earned those points, etc. The college wanted to fill seats, and lost sight of the learning component they are supposed to fully support.
