Law enforcement has come under increased pressure and scrutiny as riots continue across the country. Some officers have even become targets for assaults and attempted murders. OAN’s Christina Bobb has more on the “No Riot Act,” which aims to increase penalties for individuals who target law enforcement.

Took long enough! But not strong enough . Should force states and city's to jail and keep those charged with a crime . And just not let them lose to do more harm and crime.

  2. Derek Smolek says:

I do not want to help pay to feed or house these people in a jail. Maybe loss of citizenship and a 1way plane ticket to a socialist country or something along those lines.

  3. Peterthepiper says:

I am in Victoria Bc Canada and I was scolded by H.R at my job as someone overheard me say blm is racist against white people, the best way to put an end to those criminals is to vote for Trump, oh how we need Trudeau gone he is worse than obama

  4. Jaquan Johnson says:

THIS IS NOT PEACEFUL PROTESTING. IT IS TIME TO SHUT THIS ALL DOWN. YOU SAY NO JUSTICE NO PEACE, YOU HAVE NOT STATED WHAT JUSTICE IS. MORE INNOCENT BLACK CHILDREN HAVE DIED THAN BLACK VICTIMS OF COPS SINCE THIS STARTED JUST FROM COPS BEING TAKEN AWAY FROM GANG DUTY TO CONTROL YOUR RIOTS.

  5. anastasia2657 says:

No truly good faith protester would ever, ever, ever continue their protests in the face of this looting, burning of businesses and killing of civilians and police officers. .

  6. Richard Ricca says:

Threats, threats, and more threats from government and state officials. Do they ever give us citizens laws that benefit us? As long as there are cops, there will be cops killed. Why? Because they’re ALL CORRUPT!

  7. Harold Henderson says:

Protests are visual (and occasionally loud) demonstrations.
Riots cause damage (throwing stuff, breaking things, assaults, arson, …etc.)
    Learn the difference!
You might be very fortunate to only get arrested in some locations.

  8. UnderGround Soldierz says:

5 years minimum for just being involved.. then rack the charges up!
Go straight to jail, No Plea deal, No bail..
Nobody can fund these criminals by adding money to their accounts if its through services that raise funding online like GoFundMe for example..
Police should search Online for these types of accounts before funding is allowed in their commissary.. If accounts are found, Only family can provide funding support after. inmates should be limited to what they can purchase, they're only allowed items tax payers shouldn't have to pay for like Medication, clothes & hygiene products.. NO SNACKS..
Jails & Prisons should have an area to secure the inmates who are limited commissary items to avoid cellmates smuggling snacks in. Generally, These rules apply to all inmates in general regarding commissary..

  9. Tony Tackett says:

Increasing penalties on both sides of the coin would be fare , for people attacking cops AND unprovoked police attacking people. I pray they come up with something fare.

  10. Datwuzfun !! says:

I fully back the blue but to be fair there should also be increased penalties for law enforcement officers who assault or violate people's rights as well. A very small percentage of police are bad apples, the rest are complicit if they don't police themselves. That said if someone assaults an officer in the line of duty… throw the book at them with all the might of the justice system.

  11. David Benner says:

There are too many protections for law enforcement officers. The issue is like this: bad, incompetent, lazy, criminal cops use it to destroy individuals and families. We don't need more! Good people need to fear increased protection of police officers. Law enforcement are citizens of the United States, not soverign citizens many seem to think they are.

  12. Liberty Pastor says:

I hate it when politicians try to stop criminal behaviour by penalizing people "more severely" when they commit a crime against a certain type of person (in this case, cops).
By proposing such laws they show that they do NOT believe in EQUAL JUSTICE under the law.
Also, they create privileges that should not exist. Cops are not better or more important than anyone else!
All lives matter, and there should be equal justice under the law.
Call your Representatives and tell them to NOT sponsor or vote for this bill!

  13. August Ryckman says:

Imagine the armed forces in 2 countries coming here to back up BLM and ANTIFA. That's what we did to Germany in WW2. Then imagine them getting away with mass rape and robbery as well.

  14. Suzanne Johnson says:

He is absolutely right. Hugger penalties and they need to in Force the charges against those leaders who refuse charge these people. It does these officers no good to arrest someone only to have them let go.
