When drug use increases crime against fellow citizens in the form of theft to feed the drug abusers habit then we have bigger problems

In Oregon you can be pulled over and have cocaine on you and not get thrown in jail❓ Whoa… I didn't know there were states that condone this. Don't jail the people❓ that's a controlled substance…

  3. aaron russo says:

Fantastic news, the only people who want a big monolithic overreaching gigantic government kicking down doors to be your moral arbitor are full blown socialists. These drug decriminalisation measures are excellent steps forward.

  4. Milkman says:

You do not lose intelligence by letting druggies go free. I agree we shouldn’t but someone with multiple drug offenses in jail…. we should kill them. They’re useless to society and will only spread their drug addiction to others

Now this election confirms that the American people are sick and tired of his hostility, dishonesty, ignorance, incompetence, and infantile, self-serving behavior.

  7. mermaid mcdermott says:

Yet, Hunter Biden can do kids and sell out America to foreign countries and doesn’t go jail. It is a very bad thing with drugs, Mr. You can say anything you want to make yourself feel better. The Globalist will do anything to kill people.

  8. Busa W says:

I don't care if you use drugs but when you get hooked don't steal and do B and E's to get drug money ! Teachers already are over compensated and the kids are not being educated well. Jus my option!

I actually see some wisdom in it! The apostle Paul wrote in 1CORINTHIANS 15:56 that the strength of sin is the law of God mediated by Moses; Romans 6:14 say, sin shall not have dominion over you any longer because you are not under the law but under God’s favor in Christ! Of course this means that a person is born again of water and of the Spirit John 3:3 and 5; we see Romans 8:2 tell us that the law or principle of the Spirit of life in Jesus the Anointed One, frees the believer from this law of sin which Paul says is in the flesh of mankind in Romans 7:23. Romans 8:10 is clear, however, that if Christ (that is the Holy Spirit) in dwells the believer, the body must be dead; as Paul wrote in 1CORINTHIANS 15:36 that the body we sow is not given life except it dies; baptism in Jesus name is the only way this occurs Romans 6:3 and 1CORINTHIANS 15:29! Also, it is only by the Holy Spirit that we can put to death the deeds of the body as Romans 8:13 say and Romans 8:4 and Galatians 5:16 give testimony! As Romans 3:31 says, we don’t void the law through faith but we establish it; there is a mental frame of mind here as is described in 1CORINTHIANS 6:12 and 1CORINTHIANS 10:23: all things are lawful for me but all things do not build me up (in Christ).in another place Paul describes it again saying, for we don’t do the right thing to appear righteous but we are born of the truth and therefore we can do nothing against the truth! Romans 14:23 says for whatsoever is not of faith is sin! And Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing but hearing comes from or by the Word of God! Galatians 5:18 says if we are led of the Holy Spirit we are under no law and furthermore in Romans 8:14 we are told that the ones led of the Spirit of God are born of God or are His offspring! It is the full discernment of this truth in Christ that makes us free from sin John 8:31-36 but Paul says some people are ever learning and never able to come to fully understand or perceive it, but Jesus makes the promise that if we will continue in His Word teachings or doctrines that, one, we are truly His disciples, and two, we will come to know this truth, and let me just say that John 14:6 Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life! In fact, this is life eternal, Jesus said John 17:3, that we may know the one true God and Jesus whom God sent; Paul wrote of this in Ephesians 4:18 saying “having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart. Finally, let me end by quoting Colossians 1: 21-22 and you who were once alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has He reconciled v22 in the body of His flesh through death… see als Romans 8:4, 5 and 6 in reference to how the Spirit of Christ influences the mind to free it from sin where once it was held captive or prisoner to sin as described in Romans 7:23! In Christ we choose what we set our mind on! Romans 8:4, 5 and 6 show us the results of what we set the sentiments of our mind on and the one can get into the parable of the sower! See Colossians 3:1-3

Prohibition and the war on drugs have not worked. All drugs on the schedule are not created equally, their inclusion was and is politically motivated and has no basis in science. Cannabis and psychedelics have many positive uses such as treating pain and PTSD. Crack and magic mushrooms aren't even in the same hemisphere. People need to put their "Reefer Madness" indoctrination aside. Tylenol kills many people every year, and tylenol is not illegal or on anyone's radar because it doesn't work in the narrative. The war on drugs was never about saving lives.

  12. Roger Dodger says:

This is BS💩! As an ex -drughead I can tell you that you will ENCOURAGE DRUG USE!
WE SHOULD NOT DO THAT!! Drugs destroy the users lives, the lives of people around them, and society generally. There is nothing to be gained by decriminalizing drugs.

  13. MagicHawkeye says:

Drug addicts are hardly productive members of society. No loss to the community if they’re in jail, where they aren’t out breaking into people’s houses. This nut thinks sending them to jail teaches them criminal skills. It probably does. But these are people who have trouble finding/holding jobs, so if they don’t go to jail for possession, they probably will for burglary, assault, armed robbery, etc. Decriminalizing doesn’t yield the benefits he claims.
